Boating Education Video Tape
A boater education video, Boating the Starboard Way is available for distribution. This 28 minute high quality video was produced by the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission. A number of new concepts were used, including using some humor and a "wacky" professor by the name of Heywood Banks, who knows everything about water. We found that most Boating Educational videos use the same approach, the traditional lecture system.

Nebraska Game and Parks - Boater Education Class System
To locate the nearest Boater Education Class to your location select the NGPC District office that is nearest your location. "As of March 15, 2003, a law was passed that requires any motorboat operator (including personal watercraft) under age 16 years of age must complete a Boating Safety Course and be in possession of a course certificate when operating the boat. You must be at least 14 years of age to operate a motorboat (including personal watercraft) in Nebraska."
